Birth of Padel in One

Padel In One was born from the dream of establishing the first padel club in Australia. Inspired by the desire to introduce a rapidly growing sport from Spain to a country where it was still unknown, the project aimed to align padel's values with Australia's rich sporting culture.

Initial Spark

The idea emerged during a casual dinner among Spanish friends, where a Facebook post about someone looking for a padel court in Sydney sparked the realisation: there were none. This moment ignited the passion to bring padel to Australia.

First Steps

After this realisation, a business plan was created, and for months we scouted locations across Sydney. Though finding the right place was challenging, the vision stayed clear: to make padel a reality in Australia.

Evolution

After struggling to find the perfect location for the first padel club, we explored the creation of the Australian Padel Federation. Through discussions with the International Padel Federation (FIP), we connected with others equally passionate about bringing padel to Australia, forming collaborative partnerships that strengthened our efforts.

International Expansion

A pivotal moment came when, after initial setbacks, we returned to Barcelona where a new opportunity emerged. A call from a partner who had investor backing reignited the project. Together, we took our first major step toward international expansion by setting up a portable court in Genoa.

Moore Park — Australia's First

With persistence, we eventually secured a prime location in Moore Park, Sydney, transforming an unused parking lot into Australia's first padel club, complete with two courts and a clubhouse.
